A Word on Barbecue Sauces

BBQ Sauces
There are so many good barbecue sauces on the market today, but I don't know why anybody would attempt to make their own. I know, anytime I see a new sauce in the store I buy it and I always end up going back to my favorites. Yes, favorites plural while good barbecue sauces are good on about anything. I have a favorite sauce for pork, which is Corkeys, world-famous barbecue sauce. It goes great on just about any kind of pork, but it needs improvement on chicken. And a favorite for the chicken: I prefer Ay Chihuahua or Winking Lizard sauce (a local eatery favorite), so I suggest that you try different sauces on different things.

You'll be surprised at how even a marginal tasting barbecue sauce can be improved just by changing what type of meat you put it on. If you've just bought a new sauce, and you're unsure of how it will taste. Just try it out on one piece of chicken, for example before covering your entire meal with a sauce that you might not like. I'm sure I'll be changing my favorites on occasion as I'm constantly experimenting with different barbecue sauces. The beauty of barbecue sauces, as everyone in the family can have their own taste. And when you're grilling, you can make four pieces of chicken with four different sauces to suit everybody.
