In this section we have all of your basic grilling tools such as tool sets, spatulas and tongs. While these might sound like your regular kitchen cooking tools generally speaking, tools for grilling are about a third longer then those used in the kitchen. When selecting the proper tongs or spatula for you keep in mind bigger is not necessarily better here. You are looking for tools that are just long enough to keep you away from the heat while also being easy to use.

A good length for a decent grilling tools is around 18 inches. If you are flipping heavier pieces of meat you will want that to be a little shorter so it will not be that off balance. Anything longer than 24 inches gets hard to work with and you will end up “choking up” on the shaft to flip your meat negating the extra length of the tool.
