A food marinade injector is used to prepare foods before cooking them, they can be filled with almost any liquid. Simply inject your marinade into your meat before grilling. This serves two purposes: 1) To add flavor, and 2) Adding moisture so the meat is juicy. Be sure to work around the edges thoroughly so that they will not dry out while cooking. If you're not a habitual injector yet, (I'm sure you will become one in time), a low-end injector will do just one. If you are injecting all time, you really need make sure that the needle is attached with metal threads. If you pour any type of sauce into the body of the injector be sure to strain the liquid first. Most sauces have small bits of onions and things in them that will clog the injectors.
Here is a list of a few things other than commercial marinades that can be injected into meat.
Lemon and/or Lime juice
Coke
Beer
Bourbon
Vinegar
Orange Juice
Barbecue Sauce
Olive Oil
Italian Salad Dressing
Ketchup Melted Garlic Butter
French Onion Soup
The possibilities are endless here, if it can be liquefied and put through the needle you can inject it.
