It fits easily into any 13/16 opening and has a 1/2 NPT thread, and the mounting nut is included. This is oversized for most grills but a drop in fit thermometer for most smokers.

The oversized 3 inch dial face on this smoker thermometer accurately reads both Fahrenheit and Celsius temperatures from 150 up to 600 degrees. It has an aluminum look dial face with a black needle.
