Description

This is when the flame resistant barbecue mitt comes in. It looks like a normal oven mitt but it is flame resistant and a little thicker. In basic black so it won’t show the dirt it also has a nice red trim it can be used in the oven as well as on the grill it also has a hanging loop.

While great for keeping the heat and flames away for short periods of time, keep in mind flame resistant is not the same as flame retardant, if subjected to fire long enough this mitt would eventually catch on fire.

I personally have had an oven mitt catch on fire while it was on my hand over the grill. It is not fun. Typically they melt just from touching the grates, I lost a couple this way as well. So if your wife is tired of you ruining her good oven mitts and pot holders you may want this mitt.  It may not save your marriage but it can’t hurt.
